@nickwambugu was a fighter — not just in life, but through film.
Even while battling illness, he chose to tell stories that challenged inequality and honored people striving to improve their lives despite impossible odds. From street kids dancing in town to everyday fighters, his lens always valued humanity.
We premiered our films together, and I count it a true privilege to have known him — humble, open, curious, and deeply committed to truth. Your stories remain. Your impact remains. You taught me film makers can be heroes. Rest in power, Nick.✊🏽💯

The first person to ever hold us was in pain…
and still, she smiled.
Women carry more than we see.
They carry life.
They carry communities.
They carry hope — even when systems try to make them feel small.
This is for the mothers.
The girls.
The caregivers.
The women reducing period poverty.
The women fighting for a better world in quiet, powerful ways.
Strength isn’t about how much you can lift.
It’s about how much you overcome — and still choose love.
Tag a woman who shaped your life.
Tell her thank you — publicly.
When women rise, we all rise.

If you want to invest in Africa, look beyond institutions and governments.
Look at the people.
That’s where the real value has always been. 🌱🎬
The people are amazing 💯
Just casually hosting stories that once united the world.
No big deal. 😌📸
Biggest take away?
Never underestimate a camera, a story… or a random Instagram post.
If you missed this one…. Sorry, it's probably the algorithms fault, but don't worry. You have the whole year to make up for lost time and we are really looking forward having you in next one🔥
Happy New Year 🤍
We chose to end the year by giving, dancing, laughing, and lighting the sky together with kids from different slums.
Thank you Together for Kenya for the donations, Blossoms Ghetto for the love and community, and @jayspyrotechnics for the amazing fireworks.
Here’s to building a better future for the next generation—together.
We are the people we’ve been waiting for. ✨
