Falling and Laughing

@its_fallingandlaughing

Band. Two piece from Birmingham that does music and talking and stuff. Jangly pop with post rock tendencies, or the other way round.

Kushikatsu and The Autumn Store team up to bring you three further fantastic duos creating fresh and thrilling modern pop from the Midlands, Yorkshire and Japan! Midlands stars Falling and Laughing celebrate the release of their debut album ‘Spacejunk Solarpunk’. “Somewhere between the sublime song-smithery of indie rock legends The Wedding Present and the minimalism of post-rock of Shellac” Avo Magazine. Appi hail from Kyoto, Japan and this is their first UK tour. Delightful Shoegaze/dream pop melodies. Pink Opaque are from Sheffield and fresh from supporting Pains of Being Pure at Heart. Their Future pop is a mix of 70s disco vibes, 80s synth tones, 90s dance beats and timeless indie pop hooks. 18+ Only £10 adv (2 for 1 for under 25s) link in bio. 'It's strange to meet you here, did you know I'd be near' Hear 'Hiding Place' and other dreampopy / shoegaze / gothgaze bangers from our new EP at our return to the live stage in London on 11 June at @thecastlelondon The Castle in Aldgate. It will also be the first show with a live drummer in the band in a year, with the powerhouse that is David @electrodrummer taking the sticks and skins duty for the band. Two great supports as well in the form of indie post-rockers @its_fallingandlaughing from Birmingham and shiny indie synthpop from @pinkopaqueband from Sheffield *Please* buy your ticket in advance as it makes the whole thing a heck of a lot stressful for us and keeps the venue happy. Ticket link over on our website at cloudstudies.band Keep watching the skies 🔭☁️

It's here! We couldn't wait to share it so there's a link for pre-release sales on our bandcamp. If you want to buy a copy to listen to before the launch on the 14th March then this is for you. The album will be available online on the 14th March, and at that point will be available to listen to on the usual streaming platforms. The album will be available for sale on bandcamp, or of course in person at the all dayer on the 14th March. Link here: /merch/pre-release-spacejunk-solarpunk-12-vinyl-lp
