I’m late to my own birthday by a month.

I’ve had a lot of time on my hands to reflect on my life over the past year. When I turned 23 I was undoubtedly at the absolute lowest in my life; it looked like the horizon of my future was quickly diminishing in front of me. Years of pressure to succeed and fulfill my ambitions had compounded and finally broke me a year after graduating college.
I had taken all the right steps, hadn’t I? Studied all I could — auditioned all I could — contacted every agent I could — over a decade and a half worth of experience in theater including a professional tour before I was 19, some 20 odd short form films in the span of just two years, and too many peers, superiors, and strangers telling me I’m the next whatever skinny white boy with dark curly hair was famous at that given time. And for what? Am I simply not enough? Is there something — some innate illusive quality that I didn’t have?
There have been major personal mountains I’ve had to climb (and frankly I’m still climbing them). I lost too many people — friends and family alike whether due to death or circumstances just not allowing for the continuation of a mutual connection. Loneliness gradually became a default setting for me, having gone from seeing the people I knew nearly everyday to a couple times a year to never again. Even when I was around people (new and old) I still felt alone. Most importantly I completely lost my self.

What a special, special show this was. We closed 2 weeks ago and I still miss it lol. If you don't keep up with me, tl;dr: after a lengthy break from the stage I was given the opportunity to be a part of an original musical and got to work with some of the most wonderful human beings I've ever been lucky enough to meet. Your support, your encouragement, your passion, your talent, your kindness, and your friendship over anything else does not go unnoticed. I just can't believe I got to do it all with y'all :) My gratitude to you knows no bounds reptile haüs 💚🐊

We got "The Job" done.
It's been a week since we wrapped and I'm still living off the high this set gave me. This production was the most nutso thing I've ever done and honestly *the* unequivocal highpoint in my career as an artist this far. When I first approached @seanathanbarnett with the idea for a neo-noir short, we never anticipated how massive of a scale this thing would've become. “The Job” is the product of not one, two, or three minds but every single crew-member who brought this project to life. Everyone delivered insane levels of passion, talent, respect, professionalism and comraderie that I've not seen on any other set. I’ve genuinely found the crew I want to work with for the rest of my life-- my gratitude to you is beyond description. This film is ours and ours forevermore.
Special shout out to @mattmagzz for being *the* Director of all Directors. I can't wait to keep working with you.
