📢 SEEKING improvisers and sketch writers to join “it left the group chat” (ILTGC). ILTGC is a comedy troupe featuring POC and queer comedy writers and actors, from our POV — past sketches include “Black sign language”, “alphabet mafia”, and “underwater heated rivalry”. We try to approach comedy in a way that’s provocative but studied, occasionally unhinged but still professional, and always prioritize having fun with it — so if that sounds like you, join our fucking ranks 🫡
We perform monthly at The Comedy Clubhouse from September to April — some of this summer will be spent prepping for that residency. Both writers and actors will be paid a small honorarium as a percentage of show profits at the end of the show run. More details on expectations and commitment via the link in bio.
