🇼🇸❤️All I feel is gratitude. I am just so thankful for all of the support from my friends and family- my aiaga throughout the years. I thank god, I am truly so blessed. I have so many emotions in this moment, it's hard to put them into words. I'll have a lot more to say at some point, but for now, from the bottom of my heart- thank you. 🥉 Can't wait to celebrate with you and the boys ❤️@spamula15 📷: @caseysims_ thank you so much for these incredible photos!!

@ithr0wthings in an interview talks about something that he has always been good at, and if you watch part 1 and part 2, you'll see that what he's worked sort of revolves around that and magnifying his gift of speed and being able to strike the discus hard and fast ln his release! That is the approach of elite throwers! I cannot stress this enough, because we each are individually gifted with a unique set of skills and talents, copying someones technique can be the dumbest thing you could do. While you might find some improvement and there are great technical models out their. Pro throwers are best self-research! Maybe you and another pro thrower have some similar strengths and style, then you can study how they move through the ring. However, best practice is to build your throw around your own strengths! (Stop focusing on your weaknesses) focus on whatv you're already good at and you'll find you're already ahead! You'll build confidence in your throw as well because you are focusing on things you are good at and therefore have confidence in! And with that mindset, you can get what i call an "upward-spiral" which is a winners mindset! #discusthrow #technique #shotputthrow #trackandfieldtraining #winnersmindset

Part 2: technical interview about ORBIT with Alex Rose. We discuss what it is, whats the ideal movement and why its important, specifically with Alex's technique! Orbit essentially assists with getting the the right angle of release naturally without forcing it! The more natural your movements are the more consistent you'll be! Got a couple more videos coming too! So stay alert!

The value you can get from this episode of the podcast with @ithr0wthings and @ghostfacedmillah is amazing! Alex and Dane have had a lot of history together and many ups and downs. This means there are just as many valuable lessons to learn from them so you don’t have to take the time to learn like they did!

If there’s anybody to take throws advice from it’s @ithr0wthings Alex has been around the block a few times when it comes to throws as a sport mentally and physically so his guidance is definitely good to follow!
