Some of you are probably asking “Who is party of 2?” As we are a week away, we wanted to give yall a little bio of who we are having at kicksback‼️‼️
PARTYOF2 welcomes everyone to their table. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’ve been,
or when you got there. The group’s hybrid of R&B, hip-hop, rock, trap, and alternative is just as
inclusive as their core ethos. The Los Angeles group—Jadagrace and SWIM—architect the
kinds of anthems that make you feel like you’re a part of something bigger, emboldening you
with bangers in the process. They’re not simply creating music; they’re creating a community. 15
years ago, Jadagrace and SWIM forged a rock-solid friendship as they respectively pursued
their dreams. Eventually, they unlocked once-in-a-lifetime chemistry during their time together in
group therapy, releasing a string of projects, collaborating with Tinashe and Rejjie Snow,
receiving early cosigns from Tyler, The Creator, Missy Elliot, Doechii, Timbaland,
KAYTRANADA, Anderson.Paak, Rapsody, and performing to packed houses. They expanded
on this foundation by introducing PARTYOF2 to the masses in early 2025. Right out of the gate,
the pair struck a chord with the We Owe You an explanation EP. Inciting tastemaker applause
from the likes of CLASH, Earmilk, UPROXX, and many others, office raved, “Through bursts of
saturated color and their own poetic, quick-fire lyricism, they’re crafting a space where sharp
social observations and pure sonic joy can co-exist,” and Teen Vogue went as far as to hail it as
“their best music yet.” Simultaneously, “POSER” popped off to the tune of 43.1 million-plus
global streams and the duo has amassed over 58.2 million streams across their entire catalogue
to date. Rallying an ardent audience behind them, generating tens of millions of streams, and
receiving widespread praise, the duo invite any and all listeners into their circle with their 2025
full-length debut LP, AMERIKA’S NEXT TOP PARTY! out now on Def Jam Recordings
Due to Scheduling complications WGBT will not be performing at Kicksback and we will instead be giving the spot to the runner ups RED40
