Every journey needs its harbors… and we’re happy to announce that I.TH.A.C.A. Festival 2026 will once again take place in the wonderful spaces that hosted us last year.
Because building bridges also means building lasting collaborations. 🤝
For the second edition of the festival we are proud to return to:

🏫 Modernoi Kairoi Theater and Drama School - Damokleous 8, Kerameikos
We deeply value our collaborations with these venues and believe that strong artistic communities grow through stable partnerships and shared trust. Returning to these spaces helps us keep the spirit of I.TH.A.C.A. grounded while welcoming new artists from around the world.
🚇 Transportation
All venues are located within central Athens and are easily reachable via public transport.
Closest metro stations:
• Kerameikos (Line 3 – Blue Line) – close to En Athinais and Modernoi Kairoi (15min walking to ImproSynthesis)
• Petralona (Line 1 – Green Line) – close to ImproSynthesis (15min walking to Modernoi Kairoi and En Athinais)
🏨 Accommodation Tips
We recommend staying in the neighborhoods of:
• Kerameikos
• Petralona
• Thissio
These areas are close to the venues, full of cafés and restaurants, safe and very well connected by metro.
You’ll find plenty of options on Airbnb, Booking.com, and local boutique hotels. We are currently working on building a cooperation with a local hostel as well and if that is the case you will be informed the soonest!
