I’ve tried to transform ‘English’ into ‘हिन्दी,’ altering both the form and the language using only the original elements—nothing added, removed, flipped, or distorted. I custom-designed the letters so that both words could be formed simply by rearranging and rotating the same elements, without any other modifications. My goal was to maintain as much legibility as possible within these constraints. Although the Hindi may appear somewhat stylized, every element was used exactly as-is.

Earlier this year, we teamed up with @landorofficial (India) again to take on another challenge: localizing Mahindra’s iconic logotype into multiple Indian languages. Mahindra’s logo, with its minimalist and sharp design, needed careful adaptation to keep its bold, recognizable look while making sure it was clear and legible in each language. We worked hard to strike the right balance between Mahindra’s strong identity and the regional flair of the scripts.

Recently, we were approached by our friends at @landorofficial (India) to help localize the logotype they designed for Indriya, a newly launched jewelry brand by the Aditya Birla Group. We carefully transliterated the logotype into Hindi and Gujarati, preserving the distinct design elements and visual essence of the original English logo. Our goal was to maintain the brand’s elegance and recognizability while adapting the letterforms for legibility in each language, creating a seamless transition that resonates with regional audiences.
