Directors @itabazzam and @jackmacinnes have been celebrated for their ten year commitment to Israa’s story with the directing award
The film then went on to win the audience award for World Cinema Documentary as well!

"We have to make sure that there's a place for the work that we do that doesn't actually exist in other places. All of this is happening, but all of us are still here. We do have a division now called Frontline Features, and @jackmacinnes and @itabazzam said "Frontline Features" on the stage at Sundance for the first time. They said the brand name and it just took my breath away because nobody had said it out loud. It was one of those breathtaking moments, that I realized, oh, wow, this does have momentum. This does have something behind it. So Frontline is expanding."
