Japan Awaits
(Before we all can spec in the upcoming #forza Horizon 6 🤡, and I think my plate is better than forza 🤡)
There are few cars that excites me in recent years, but this “Toyota” does. Because when we are talking about race cars, LM, this brand, this nation is usually seriously underrated! Japan actually know how to build a car, a race car as well ! Not just a Fit.
Technical aside, just look at the aesthetics of this car, it is quite insane. When working on this car, I can actually feel a lot of LFA in it, so why not bringing back the most iconic LFA spec to this new GRGT to tribute to his 10yrs plus brother? Pearl white with Chrome wheels. What a remarkable and iconic spec.
On the other hand, the long head is not something you usually see, and definitely not on the LFA. It immediately reminds me of the SLS / AMG GT. And honestly, I really feel the AMG gt when seeing the side profile of the GRGT. However, I would say, it’s a much more of an engineered car than aesthetic. Similar to the McLaren Senna, strict and angular lines, less the beautiful curve you can find on Mercedes/ Italian super cars. Probably all focus on practicality and aerodynamics. It’s a bit boring and less details so far I can find. But who cares ? Just can’t wait to see it on roads and the GT3 on track, and what records it can break !

Special of the special.
Finally got to see this hidden gems ( yes, always hidden from me…) from the last @foc_hk parade. This is not any usual 430, but a special limited edition #16M spider, where only 499 were produced to celebrate Ferrari’s 16 Formula One constructors’ championships.
What makes it even more special is that this is also not an other 16M straight out from the configurator, it is finished in a tasteful, special shade — Verde Zeltweg. A rather unique and subtle dark green shade. Definitely one of the highlights in the parade!

I think I just found a candidate in my “Three cars garage”. - A stripless Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta in Grigio Ingrid with brown leather interior. That’s currently, imo, the @best_.spec for this car.
Quite a lot of options were borrowed and inspired from @live_my_30000_days ‘s beautiful Aperta, because it was his Aperta that made me realise me how elegant this car can be. The true best spec in real life. 🤌🏻🤌🏻

If I would have the privilege to own one @detomaso_official , this is likely how I am going to spec it. It’s surprisingly close to the first production specification.
Exterior wise, it is meant to be Pearl white with Deep Blue & Black carbon fibre with Gold accents.
The “white and blue” is the representation of cloud and ocean to me.
Originally I would go for satin silver rims for the cleanest result. But the brushed Champagne Gold wheel makes a real good contrast and I think it gives a good representation to the “golden rays” at dawn.
And the Brushed copper bullet mirror and accessories simply add some good touches to give the retro vibe.
The interior is pretty much the official spec — Ivory leather with white Heritage Diamond stitching. And Diamond cut accessories in brushed Champagne Gold. Yes, this original option is almost perfect in my mind already. But my ideal version would be adding back some blue leather and blue carbon to match the exterior option. And the blue is giving some contrast to the whole interior.
Can it make it to the @best_.spec ?🤣
