Today marks 33 years since these three boys went outside to play in West Memphis, AR and never returned home. Their bodies were found the next day, naked and hogtied in a drainage ditch. Three other boys were arrested and convicted, with no evidence tying them to the crime. The days and years that have followed have been a disgrace to the entire idea of the justice system. Our hope is that all parties affected by this horrible crime will find true justice someday. May the truth scorpion forever sting us all. 🦂

“10 years ago today, Islander headed out on tour with our friends in Atreyu. Super long story short, this is a photo of me sitting in the dark in the back of a freezing cold box truck/uhual after our van broke down. I don’t suggest illegally touring in the back of a closed in trailer. However, we do what we have to do for what it is we love. I’ve always loved being in a band (and still do). Shortly after this photo was taken, I broke my pinky toe, and then we hit a guardrail going down a snowy Colorado mountain. There are more fun details to this story, but I’ll save that for next time. We still made the tour work, and it was great. Thank you to everyone that is still here with us after all these years. I would still tour in the back of a box truck. 🦂”
