Had to increase tension on my wire and decided to share this simple process to securely tie a picture hanging wire! 🦋Getting my piece ready to drop off at @make.shiftartspace for the Butterfly Effect show, opening on May 1 for the first Friday art walk!
How to secure picture wire:
1) thread wire around hook (I’m using a tiny d-ring)
2) make ~4 tight loops around wire
3) tighten loops while leaving hole around original threading on d-ring
4) thread end of wire back up through hole attached
5) pull tight
6) for extra security thread end of wire down through bottom at base of loops
7) trim or wrap excess wire ✅
