On 18 of March, we celebrated the launch of the first I, Science issue of 2025–2026: Beginnings When thinking about the theme for this issue, we found ourselves returning to the idea of journeys and how every journey has to start somewhere. So, Beginnings became our way of exploring all the fresh starts, questions, discoveries and moments in science that make us feel like anything is possible. Thank you to everyone who helped bring this issue to life: our wonderful writers, editors, photographers, artists, designers and contributors, and to everyone who joined us at the launch event and shared this beginning with us. Seeing so many people connect with the stories, ideas and creativity behind the issue made the evening incredibly special. A special thank you to Central Saint Martins for being part of this celebration and supporting these exciting new beginnings for I, Science. #sciencecommunication #scicomm #imperialcollegelondon #beginnings #iscience
