I’m very pleased to share that I’ve been awarded a commission with @cvanetwork through the Ode to the Midlands programme.
Over the next year I’ll be developing a new digital work in collaboration with @meadowarts , supported by mentoring, technical input, and research time .
The project builds on my practice around immersive, responsive environments & I’m looking forward to pushing that further in this context.

Last night was a big deal in my world. The Generator finally opened.
I’ve been on the board for 5 years, but the journey has been well over 10. Different plans, false starts, a building bought from the university, hard-won funding, a challenging construction phase that uncovered a buffet of contaminants where submarine generators once sat.
No bodies, thankfully. But it was close. 😅
Through it all, we kept asking: why does this matter?
This building once generated electricity, now we’re asking it to do something harder, to power people, creativity, and connection.
Technology is great. It connects us instantly. But it can’t replicate what it feels like to be in a room together, making something, sharing something, feeling something side by side. That’s what last night was.
Standing there, feeling the energy in the room and watching it fill with people, I’ve never been more certain we needed it.

It’s been a whirlwind year
Not sure where to begin…
A year of beginnings and endings. A year of shedding old skins and embracing new chapters.
A year of challenges and growth, new connections, friends, places, new interests.
In numerology, 2025 is a Universal Year 9-the year of closure and preparation. Endings and release, introspection and healing, shedding the old skin.
2026 is a Universal Year 1 - new beginnings, fresh starts, and growth.
Wishing that energy to everyone as we call the new year in from one of the most intense energetic places I’ve ever been - Egypt 🇪🇬
Last night was intense. Today is clear.
Releasing old patterns that don’t serve me. Letting go of how I’ve identified for years.
Feeling freed up. Supercharged.

2025 is breaking people open
I can feel it, you can feel it - everything’s accelerating, it’s fucking intense right now.
I’ve spent 25 years in tech, the creative industry, building businesses, chasing the next thing. Last 5 years I stepped back from all that. This year broke me completely open.
Somatic therapy, plant medicine, watching everything I thought I knew about myself fall apart. This recent piece I just finished at Beacon Hill with @kvadermusic - it’s just tech and nature having a chat, it’s what my art practice is about.
That’s where I am now. Not abandoning everything I built, but asking it to serve something bigger. I now find myself working with incredible individuals who are walking away from systems that don’t work anymore.
The skills are the same. The intention is completely different.
Most people are either running back to what they know or pretending the old world isn’t ending.
I’m interested in what gets built next. By people who’ve done the work to rebuild themselves first. I’m curious to know, where are you headed?
The soul doesn’t forget - it waits for the heart to awaken again.
When recognition comes, it speaks in knowing: you’ve been here before, loved here before.
Some souls return to remind you who you are, to ignite what’s been sleeping. Others come to continue love that never truly ended.
In the West, we often confuse possession with connection, believing that if someone leaves, love is lost. But true love isn’t ownership - it’s presence without demand.
Some bonds exist beyond time, distance, reason. Both are sacred 💫

Been spending time in reflection lately, doing inner work to untangle major patterns and step more fully into who I’m becoming - reclaiming parts of myself that got lost along the way. Powerful masculine energy integration happening, bringing forward strength and clarity that belonged to who I was becoming all along.
Was thinking about how many tip runs I’d need to clear the garden when the obvious solution presented itself - fire. There’s something honest, transformative & efficient about watching solid things turn to ash in minutes. Clean. Final.
This deep work has been way harder than expected but also more rewarding than I could have imagined. Having people who can hold space for the transformative parts makes all the difference.
Grateful for this journey, even the challenging parts - and especially thankful for family and friends who’ve shown up. Special love to @feral.grace who is a total badass at holding space when it matters most 💪🏼 💪🏼
