@karlabacigalupo has some big challenges ahead, and as her director and friend, I know how much she thrives on diving deep into a character, embodying it, unlocking doors she hasn’t opened before. I know what being on set means to her, it’s the same as it is for me.
I’m a director who gives everything to storytelling. This is who I am. I direct people to become someone they’re not, but in a way that feels deeply empathetic and real. I write from lived experiences and from dreams I remember when I wake up. I’m drawn to the visually striking, but it’s the rhythm of everyday life and how we perceive it that fascinates me most.
