$I’d never imagined Brexit would impact my life the way it did. Being far away from your loved ones, and them not being able to come to you, made me feel hopeless. I imagined the way people around the world feel when they’re stuck and can’t reach their loved ones. Though I only felt a fraction of what these people endure, my thoughts are with everyone who has felt this way at least once in their life.It has been a difficult time and this is all still surreal to me but I am truly grateful that I was blessed with the opportunity to start building a life with Luca. I want to thank everyone who made this happen, anyone who supported me during my lows, and who tried in their own way to help me have this opportunity.And last but definitely not least, thank you Luca, for believing in us and taking this leap with me. We have a lot of milestones ahead of us, and I can’t wait to face them together.~Non avrei mai immaginato che la Brexit avrebbe influenzato la mia vita così tanto. Essere lontano dai propri cari e non poterli avere accanto mi ha fatto e mi fa sentire senza speranza a volte. Posso solo immaginare come si sentano le persone in tutto il mondo quando sono bloccate e non possono raggiungere i loro cari. Anche se ho provato solo una piccola parte di ciò che queste persone sopportano, sono vicina a tutti coloro che hanno provato questo sentimento almeno una volta nella loro vita.È stato un periodo difficile e tutto ciò è ancora surreale per me ma sono davvero grata di poter avere l’opportunità di iniziare a costruire una vita con Luca. Voglio ringraziare tutti coloro che hanno reso ciò possibile, chi mi ha sostenuto nei momenti difficili e chi ha tentato, nel loro piccolo, di aiutarmi ad avere questa opportunità.E per ultimo ma non meno importante, grazie Luca, per aver creduto in noi ed aver fatto questo passo con me. Abbiamo molti traguardi davanti a noi, e non vedo l’ora di raggiungerli insieme.$
