Jewellery group project 2026
Inspired by David Bowie’s use of alter egos as a space for transformation, this group project reconsiders identity within a contemporary landscape shaped by surveillance and algorithmic control. Here, the alter ego becomes more than expression — it acts as a form of protection, a way to obscure, distort, and reclaim the self.
Drawing on the idea of the shadow self, the work explores the parts of identity that exist beneath visibility — what is hidden, suppressed, or intentionally withheld. These elements are not erased, but embodied.
The garment and accompanying jewellery operate alongside a newly developed wearable instrument that wraps around the body, shifting in form depending on how it is worn. It resists fixity, mirroring an alter ego that is constantly in flux — adapting, concealing, and revealing in response to its environment.

Reset Show 2025 Look
This look explores how guilt is transformed in my (Isabelle rehm) Lucid dreamscape. We carry the guilt of history on our shoulders and are weighed down under its immense weight.
The look combines sculpture and fashion, creating a wearable art piece.
