@insyt_ on the motivation/inspirations behind the record as well as this shoot.
"an EP by insyt. releases everywhere Friday, December 5th, 2025.
This summer I moved to Toronto hoping to complete my third album. Instead, what came out of that time was an EP. A small, frantic collection of music that was my comfort in a period that couldnāt have been more confusing. The music from those months deeply reflects adulthood, Pan-Africanism, healing, legacyā¦.the things I found grounded me when the world got too loud.
The project is centered around time. How it marks us, connects us to those who are gone, and outlives us in the art I know will be around long after Iām not here anymore. Itās a delicate system, and Iām learning to steer the ship the best I canā¦"
