My modern western film Stray Dogs will be having its festival premiere at The Tree Fort Music and Film Festival next month!
It seems like I made this film a lifetime ago. While I was still editing, I impatiently submitted this film to a bunch of festivals when it wasn’t ready, and not surprisingly it didn’t get accepted anywhere. When we finally finished the cut, a year or two later, I had pretty much moved on and given up on it. I chalked it up to a learning experience. And then my good friend @haylobos reached out and helped me realize the film deserves to be out in the world. He and the @a.k.s.t.u.d.i.o team breathed new life into it by taking it under their wing and creating a beautiful new score. Now, next month, we are taking it to the @treefortfest to have its festival premiere. It’s a beautiful film that so many people sacrificed their time and resources on, and I’m super happy it will be showing at such a rad festival. #treefort #treefort10 #filmfort
