My Story. I feel like i haven’t been very vulnerable about my entire journey and that’s going to change. I used to be the guy who couldn’t run a mile without gasping. The guy who avoided the mirror at all costs. The guy who thought “this is just who I am.” One day i recognized i’m made for more than this. It was hard, actually very hard but worth every second of showing up everyday. Then i met the man with fire in his eyes. His name is Jesus. He changed my heart, my purpose and My story. If you’re doubting yourself, struggling with your weight, goals, or your faith… i want you to hear these few words…. It doesn’t matter where you start. It doesn’t matter how far behind you feel. If you show up. If you keep going. If you lay everything at the foot of the cross… He will carry you farther than you could EVER imagine. My Strength comes from the Lord. what a wild month and a half So many moments where I truly realized I simply did not have the strength on my own to keep going. and that’s the whole point. The Lord has carried me through all of these insane challenges even when my body and mind wanted to quit. His strength has been sufficient every single time. This entire journey has ultimately been about pointing people to JESUS. In a world filled with hopelessness, anxiety, depression, addiction, loneliness, and people silently wondering if their life even matters, I want these runs to be a reminder that there is still HOPE found in Christ. There is a God that sees you, loves you and has not abandoned you. I do these things because I know there are people barely hanging on right now. People fighting battles nobody knows about and that there are people who need encouragement to keep going one more day. If the Lord can use these crazy miles, these moments, and this platform to help just ONE person realize they are loved and their life has purpose, then every single ounce of pain is worth it. Not an ounce Aof this was done in my own strength. All honor and glory to the Lord for sustaining me through every step of this past month. If you are struggling right now, please don’t give up.
