Announcing the Filmhouse Queer Film Prize 2026! 🎬 🏳️🌈
We're so excited to be a nominating partner of the @IrisPrize Best British Short, and we're looking for an LGBTQIA+ short film to nominate from our region!
From the submitted films, our panel will compile a shortlist which will be screened at Filmhouse on Wednesday 24th June. The winner and Scotland’s nominated film to be part of the Iris Prize Best British programme will be announced at the screening, and be shown on @Channel4 and @Film4 .

Entries for the Chapter Queer Short Film Prize 2026 are now open!
This June, we celebrate the best LGBTQIA+ shorts made in Wales. Chapter is a nominating partner of the @IrisPrize Best British Short, and we’re searching for a film to put forward from our region.
Shortlisted films will screen at a special @ChapterMovieMaker event on Thursday 11 June. The winning film will feature in the Iris Prize Best British programme and be shown on @Channel4 and @Film4 .
Deadline: Friday 29 May, 5pm
