I am so incredibly honoured to share that I’ve been named the North2North Breakthrough Artist 2026. 🍁✨ This recognition means I will be travelling to Sweden this June to represent Canada at Lilla By Festivalen as part of the North2North cultural exchange. I’ll be performing on the main stage, in the Canada Barn (Kanaladan), and at the opening celebration — the Maple Mingle Fika hosted by the Canadians. Getting to bring my fiddle, my songs, and a little piece of Canada across the ocean feels pretty surreal. I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity and so excited to meet the incredible artists and audiences in Sweden. Hey Caledon! ❤️🎻 I’m so excited to be heading your way for the Whiskey & Cream Music Festival at Mt. Alverno. These shows feel really special to me because they’re about more than just music. They’re about community, small towns, good people, local businesses, and everyone coming together for an afternoon of live Canadian talent, laughter, and probably a solid amount of toe-tapping. I also really love that Whiskey & Cream supports local restaurants, shops, non-profits, food banks, legions, and community organizations. That kind of thing matters so much, and it feels very close to what folk music has always been about for me: connection. I’ll be bringing the fiddle, the energy, and all the tunes I can possibly fit into one afternoon. What a beautiful night at Young’s Point United Church ❤️🎻 Thank you so much to everyone who came out tonight.
