Your weekend don't have to be Stressful
Yesterday was quite amazing, so let me explain. I was at the bus-stop when a lady walked up to me. She asked where she could board a bus going to Ketu. I was going to Obalende. If you are conversant with the Yaba route then you would know those two roads are parallel, quite opposite.
I simply told her " Cross the road to the other side" which she did . That little instruction worked.
Returning home in the evening, another lady walked up to me to ask for directions 😂😂
It got me thinking, sometimes all you need is a simple instruction, a new direction, a little word of hope and that is enough to point you to the right destination in Life.
May we find helpers along our Journeys in life and May we seek help from the right place, right person and in the right way.
Normally before I leave home. I make a mental picture of all my journeys to and fro noting where to pass and where not to pass . Majorly because it is accessible to 3 core major roads ( Mushin, Yaba and Surulere)
But today was different, I woke up from sleep, dressed up and off I headed to the road. It was while I was inside the bus, I discovered " Oh , Tope , where did you pass ? And fortunely, I still ended up at the same place if I had passed another route but this time faster because the bus saved my time which I would never had thought of if I had used my thinking.
Sharing because my mind immediately went to the movie I watched on Friday " Waiting for Sarah" A particular scriptures strucked my mind
Prov.3.5 - Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Prov.3.6 - In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Maybe sometimes, we don't have to over think it.
Maybe sometimes, Trusting in God is all that is required.
It may not make sense Now, but it certainly will.

This day last week 18-04-2026. So much to un pack at the @themultiwomannetwork conference. Every panel session came with fire to prune and burn out mediocrity. I unlearned, learned, and Re-learned.
The Health session by the Doctors were not left out. Learning about Menstruation and Ménopause.
Your income is not Wealth. You must learn the Art.
Learn to forgive yourself, Take care of your body. Never live in isolation.
Remember Audacity is the ability to deploy your God-given gift.

So there is a trait people will see and they can tell this individual will last. It is Teachability.
While there is another trait people will see and they definately know this one cannot last. It is PRIDE.
There is only a thin line between CONFIDENCE and PRIDE.
A thin line between PERSISTENCE and STUBBORNESS.
You should be able to note the différences. The Former are okay but the Latter I can't tell .
Ensure all you do is not for Self-Glorification, Learn to submit to Wisdom, Ask questions, Be Teachable.

This post by my pastor @tobe.livy blessed my life Yesterday and the incident that happened at work made me understand it's meaning and depth.
One of the guards was being cautioned or would I say corrected for doing something, and this was not just anyone correcting him but his Supervisor. The next thing we heard was loud noise from outside which prompted us to all rush out.
He had pulled off his uniform " I am not even doing the work again, I am leaving the job , don't you know I am a married Man? You don't talk to me like that!" And that was how he left.
Truth be told, I understand the place of Respect, I understand people talking to you with Grace, I understand many are not emotionally intelligent and could talk you down . But what I will Never Understand is YOU TAKING DECISION AT THE HEAT OF THE MOMENT!!
So you are going to forfeit your salary because someone talked down on you that when you step out, nobody will know ?
You mean you will go get a divorce because you and your spouse had a disagreement?
You mean you will stop attending classes because your lecturer said something you don't like?
Haba nau? Always ask yourself" Will this decision be right after 24hrs? Then you are good to go!!

Well, this post is to let you know that THERE IS ALWAYS A CAUSE , a Why or Reason behind a thing.
The other day, I was about to make a pap, I was so careful in missing it, boiling the water to the highest of temperature yet it did not form on the ground. I was bothered and started blaming myself but my Uncle told me " it was not your fault actually, it's the Pap Preparation. If the shaft was not properly seived or removed, the Pap becomes too heavy to rise and it will not
So you see, many of the things you actually blame yourself for was not even yours to take if it is looked at critically.
What are you to do?
Always check for the underlining cause and work on that.
I later placed the pot on the gas and made the pap which formed well.
There is Always a way Out !! Find it and Act Right.
