Brother Montagueo is the creator of the Ocean Bowl Series, an initiative focused on promoting literacy, conservation, and S.T.E.A.M. education through creativity, storytelling, and hands-on engagement. With more than 20 years of experience spanning technology, animation, digital marketing, sound design, infrastructure operations, and business intelligence, his work reflects the power of combining innovation with purpose.
Driven by his passion for youth development and community impact, Brother Montagueo continues to encourage young people to think bigger, create boldly, and challenge themselves to become leaders capable of changing the world around them. An undergraduate at the University of West Georgia, Bro. Orusa continues to raise the standard—earning the Leadership Award at GCR Regionals 2025 and helping his Chapter secure Best Partnership through impactful collaboration with Good Health Wins 🐎.
Beyond the fraternity, he serves as President of Wolves Don’t Waste, actively combating food insecurity and ensuring students in his community are supported. His dedication to teamwork and excellence was also on display as he helped lead his chapter to 1st Place at AGP’s 1st Annual Grill Off last year.

The Eastern Region holds a special place in my heart. It is the region that helped shape my identity, cultivated my purpose, and ultimately provided me with the opportunity to lead thousands of men across this country. It is a region that has consistently created space for young men to discover themselves grounded in a brotherhood that represents the pinnacle of what it means to be a part of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated
Through the leadership of our Regional Polaris, Brother Clayton, and his entire regional team, this conference exemplified excellence, vision, and unity. I extend my sincere gratitude for your dedication, your commitment to uplifting our brotherhood, and your ability to bring together both seasoned elders and emerging leaders each contributing to the strength and legacy of this great region.

What an incredible experience this weekend at the Southern Regional Conference with the brothers representing Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. Under the leadership of Gibbs Hightower and Ricky Sales, the standard has not only been set—it has been elevated. The message was clear: the South is present, unified, and moving with purpose.
From the moment of arrival to each training, module, and workshop, the level of organization, hospitality, and execution was exceptional. Every detail—from airport pickup to accommodations and thoughtful touches throughout—reflected a commitment to excellence and brotherhood. Thank you for your continued service and dedication.

A Licensed Social Worker with over a decade of experience, Bro. Geathers serves as a Social Work Case Manager at Forbes Hospital and a Mental Health Therapist with HandinHand Counseling, LLC. In October 2025, he was nominated by Governor Josh Shapiro and confirmed by the Pennsylvania Senate to serve on the State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors—an honor that reflects his commitment to service and leadership.
Through his platform, JG Mental Health Fridays, he continues to educate, uplift, and provide practical coping strategies to communities everywhere. Bro. Geathers truly exemplifies our motto through his dedication to service, advocacy, and empowering others.
