Together with psychologists and facilitators, participants will reflect on the emotional challenges of learning a new language in migration contexts, build confidence, and discover healthier ways to approach language learning.

We brought love with us when we migrated, but love doesn't always come easily. Sometimes its struggles run deep, sometimes it challenges us, and sometimes it shows us what truly matters to us.
In this workshop, we aim to sit together and talk about this important human experience, with curiosity, with openness, and with respect for the path each of us has taken.

Living far from home can affect both the body and the mind. Stress, anxiety, grief, disconnection, and emotional exhaustion are experiences many migrants quietly carry.
This 8-week in-person course for Iranians living in Berlin offers a supportive and safe space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore practices that support emotional wellbeing and healing.
Through meditation, deep breathing, mindful nutrition, and emotional awareness exercises, participants will build tools for self-care, grounding, and inner balance.
Starting May 15
Every Friday | 17:00–19:00
IPSO Care Center Berlin
Participation is free.

As we also reflect on last year’s conversation with our counselor Vera on loneliness, one idea stood out: how this feeling can sometimes act as a mask, hiding fatigue, depression, and other emotional complexities. These are natural responses that can arise when moving to a new country, away from everything familiar.
Our free, culturally relevant counseling sessions through the saba app can help you navigate these complex feelings in Germany.

As we reflect on last year’s conversation with our counselor Sara and @kefahalideeb on how migration shapes Arab families, one insight stayed with us: the stigma around mental health support in Arab communities.
Talking about mental health in the Arab context is not just about “breaking the stigma.” It is about understanding how silence is socially produced, how it becomes part of everyday values and tied to ideals of being “composed”.
From this perspective, choosing to speak up and seek support becomes something more, a quiet act of courage that challenges deeply rooted norms.
Through our saba app, we offer free, culturally relevant counseling sessions for Arabs in Germany.
