Wondering how long your delay time should be? It depends on your circulation! Figuring out your delay time is critical for even more accurate chemical dosing. #PoolCare #IPSCONTROLLERS #PoolMaintenance #ChemicalAutomation
Calibration is key for accurate pH readings. If your controller and sensors are within 2 points of a manual DPD test, it's likely fine and you'll avoid overcalibrating. To clear old calibrations, when in pH programming mode, hold Mode for 2 seconds, release, then hold pH Cal while holding Mode again until the controller turns on. Release both, press Mode to cycle to Auto. #pHControl #ipscontrollers #PoolCare #WaterTesting #MaintenanceTips
The overtimer is a safety feature. It counts cycles to reach pH/ORP levels. If levels are met, it resets and continues normally. It is underutilized, if your pump size, dose time, and delay time are correct, then you should not need to set this above 20-30 cycles. #IPSControllers #PoolMaintenance #PoolCare #Automation #SafetyFirst #TechTips
