🍜 Ippudo is my favorite ramen spot in the Bay Area. They let you customize your bowl by choosing both the noodle type and soup base, which makes every visit feel personalized. The appetizers are outstanding, especially the chicken karaage and truffle fries, which I highly recommend trying.

You finally don’t need a passport to go here —Japan’s hottest ramen spot, @ippudo , is officially in Southern California! We checked out the West Hollywood location before it transitions into a full vegan ramen bar, and don’t worry—a brand new location is opening in Downtown Culver City with a full menu of meat options by the end of this month!
We kicked things off with crispy karaage and juicy gyoza—both packed with flavor. And of course, we had to try the shishito peppers because it’s always a gamble mild or spicy. They even have sushi rolls on the menu! But the real star? The ramen. We got the Akamaru Modern and Dragon Tantan ramen, and let’s just say it tastes just like Japan.
