A 28-year-old man was arrested for running a private Telegram group selling explicit content of children for a mere 200 baht per entry (approx USD$6). International Protection Alliance (IPA), ATPD 3, and ATPD 6 ran a joint operation to apprehend the offender.
The perpetrator would contact minors on social media, earning their trust before soliciting nude photos and videos. He would pay his victims and subsequently sell their content within his private Telegram group, without the victims' knowledge.
A total of seven victims were identified and four of them have been rescued and receiving support.
As exploitation methods evolve, perpetrators are increasingly able to reach vulnerable individuals through the vast expanse of the Internet.

In partnership with Silent Bridge, International Protection Alliance (IPA) instructors from both Malaysia and Thailand provided specialized training for investigators from Thailand's Department of Provincial Administration (DOPA).
The training focused on strengthening investigators’ ability to conduct online child sexual exploitation investigations through classroom instruction, case studies, and practical exercises designed to enhance both digital and field-based investigative capabilities.
IPA believes in equipping these dedicated law enforcement officers with the skills, software, and hardware needed to fight against this evolving landscape of hyper-digitalization and exploitation.
