To the Spring 2026 graduates of the Iota Pi Chapter ❤️ We celebrate each of you and everything you’ve overcome to reach this moment. Earning your degree is more than just walking across a stage, it represents the long nights, the sacrifices, the growth, the setbacks you pushed through, and the strength you found along the way. As a chapter, we are beyond proud of each and every single one of you. As they begin new journeys and step into new opportunities, we hope that you continue to carry with the same confidence, passion, and resilience that brought them this far. To our Spring 2026 graduates, thank you for everything you’ve poured into this chapter. We are endlessly proud of you and so excited to see all that you accomplish next ❤️

On Saturday, April 25, Iota Pi members participated in the Walk with Miramar for Autism Program to bring awareness to the condition and support to the Reyna Group Homes Foundation. This event, hosted by Commissioner Maxwell B. Chambers, allowed members to uplift and shed light upon autism awareness, especially amongst the Black community. On the same day, Iota Pi donated all of the collected bags from our Thrifted and Gifted clothing donation drive to Lotus House. Thank you to everyone who donated or assisted in any way. We are proud to be able to continue giving back to those in need. #dst #iotapi ❤️

A message from the Immediate Past President, Jhanae Askew: It is official the end of an era, and now it’s time for me to graduate. Thank you all for 469 days of impact, growth, and leadership with the most amazing and illustrious chapter, Iota Pi. Serving as president has truly grown me and humbled me in ways I will carry for a lifetime. I am incredibly grateful to every member who showed up, put in the work, and helped me build a high functioning, award winning chapter during my presidency. This was never a one woman job, this was a collective effort, and I appreciate each of you for pouring into the vision. To our advisors, thank you for always showing up and never missing a moment to ensure that business was handled the right way. Your guidance, support, and consistency meant everything. To the Center for Fraternity and Sorority Engagement (CFSE), thank you for your continued support, guidance, and commitment to our growth. A special thank you to Stephen, Alex, and Ernest for consistently showing up, pouring into our chapter, and helping position Iota Pi to grow, thrive, and succeed. To NPHC, thank you for welcoming me and building a bond like never before. Thank you for showing not only our campus but our community that Divine Nine organizations can truly work together, build genuine relationships, uplift one another, and move our people forward. I am grateful for the unity, the collaboration, and the impact we created together. And to all FIU and community partners, thank you for collaborating, supporting, and believing in our work. I am excited to see what continues to come from those relationships. To the new President of Iota Pi, I am beyond proud to see you carry the torch. I have full faith in your leadership and I am excited to watch you grow the chapter to even greater heights. So long Iota Pi. This is not a goodbye, just a see you later as I move into the next level of my Delta journey. Much love and appreciation to the chapter that helped shape me into who I am today. ❤️

Last weekend, Iota Pi joined FIU Greeks at the GEM facility to continue serving our community. Iota Pi helped sort, count, and organize hundreds of cans that will be packaged and distributed to those in need. We are so glad to be able to continue the work that our founders prioritized in our society. ❤️ #iotapi

During Sigma Week, Iota Pi’s Physical and Mental Health Committee teamed with Lambda Tau for a Just Dance Battle. Split into teams, participants were able to show off their moves, get some steps in, and enjoy the music. Iota Pi is glad to have been able to help bring the community together with food and fun. Shoutout to Lambda Tau for making this experience possible. 🕺🏽❤️💙 #iotapi

Last week, Iota Pi members traveled to Washington DC for Delta Days at the Nation’s Capitol 2026. Our National Second Vice President, Soror Courtney Taylor, alongside other executive members, spoke at the collegiate forum and encouraged fellow Sorors to remain passionate about social action, just as our founders were. During this conference, the chapter had the opportunity to meet and speak with International President and Chair of Board of Directors Soror Cheryl W. Turner, National First Vice President Soror Rosie Allen-Herring, Immediate Past National President Soror Elsie Cooke-Holmes, Southern Regional Director Soror Amaris Johnson, and many more Delta women who have contributed to the success of the organization. Delta Days at the Nation’s Capitol allowed Iota Pi to connect with Sorors around the country and learn leadership skills, social action methods, and civic engagement planning. Our chapter learned invaluable information that will help continue the development of the Black and FIU community.

Delta Week Recap Day 6: Service ❤️ As part of Delta Week on March 14th, the Iota Pi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. had the honor of assisting the Dade County Alumnae Chapter with Delta Academy, pouring into the next generation of leaders in our community. Through this initiative, we created a space that emphasized the importance of voting, civic engagement, and using your voice to create change. It was a reminder that empowering our youth with knowledge and purpose is essential to building stronger, more informed communities. A special thank you to the Dade County Alumnae Chapter for allowing us to serve alongside you. ❤️
