The 2026 edition of @worldorienteeringweek begins this Saturday and until May 24th, every orienteering event around the world can be a part of the global orienteering festivities.
This Monday, IOF President Tom Hollowell sent an encouragement letter to all IOF's Member Federations, urging them to participate and showcase the sport of orienteering to the world.

The final webinar of the season features William Lemoine, psychologist and mental performance coach working with Team Finland Orienteering.
In this webinar, William will speak about the power of mental imagery (also called visualization) and the effects on sport performance, with practical application in orienteering.
He will also briefly introduce his new concept, FIMI Recordings, a program entirely dedicated to orienteering that integrates sounds captured during training and competitions.

With the Swiss World Cup round concluded, we caught up with the Swiss superstar Baptiste Rollier who has been living in Czechia for years. He provided deep insight into Czech orienteering terrains and, of course, invited everybody to he Czech World Cup round this August.
Norwegian Eirik Langedal Breivik - @eiriklbr ran a phenomenal final leg in last year's @tiomilakavlen and won together with his teammates from @ntnuiorientering (NOR).
Since then, he went to @nydalensskiklub (NOR) and has big expectations for this year's relay in the weekend.
