I nearly got the house burnt... while preparing this, wellllll I'm Just kidding.😂 But "Man shall not live by bread alone..." This word came rushing to me as i prepared to eat my meal. And just like you have it in mind, these were the words JESUS said when He was about to be tempted after fasting for 40 day and 40 nights. At "Come - the gathering" by @sinmidele on 18th November 2023, my eyes were opened even deeper to what this exactly mean (because this was the reference Tobi used when giving us a short exhortation) . Just as I'm staring at my meal, it's not what it's sustaining me, it's not what's keeping me. But the Life found in the word of God. As i wrote in my note pad God says that even mere hunger for food is not what He (God) wants for you.That's why God said man shall not live by bread alone. When Jesus was saying it, He said it not because he wanted to say it, but He wanted to bring into to my (our) understanding that it's not food that sustains us... but WORD (life) of God! It is life. "When you're starved you're lifeless!" Even if you hunger, you don't need to turn the stone to bread. Stones can be what you have ability to satify your emotions, your desires, your ambition. But, God is saying, Iny, you don't need to strife to turn the stones to bread. You don't need them now. Even if you don't have the bread you might want to find a means which is a stone to turn to bread. No, that's not what you want Iny. One thing you should thirst and hunger for, from within is the one birth out of the Love for God! He first loved us. Let Him love you 🥺❤️ YOUR LOVE FOR GOD should rule out all of your desires, and your ambitions should be found in Him. I love the words of @sinmidele in the 2nd and 3rd slides...🥺 It brought some questions ringing in my heart.
