Let me introduce myself!
I’m Kayla, a Cake Decorator Located in the East Bay Area! I grew up in the kitchen with my grandma baking cookies and re-established a love for the craft while in Highschool. I attended DVC for College hoping to get a start in their Culinary program with a focus on baking and Pastry work, but unfortunately since I graduated at the start of Covid I missed out on in person classes in my first few years of College. That didn’t stop me from learning everything I could about my trade by getting a full-time bakery Job and learning on-site and working my butt-off at home testing and trying out new recipes!
The idea for IntoxiCakes & Co came as I was turning 21 and trying different cocktails to figure out my drink of choice; I wanted to see how different cocktails would fair as desserts. I started with a personal favorite: The Espresso Martini and then got myself a cocktail book and kept going from there!
