🌸New launch!🌸 It’s currently Sakura season in Japan. SKII is an ultra-prestige skin care product which promotes skin cell renew, with roots in Japanese culture. The annual, fleeting spring blooming of cherry blossoms feels like the perfect metaphor for the product. To create the SKII gifting edition for this occasion, we crafted a paper cut flower blossom scene. The bespoke illustration strengthens the naturally beautiful brand credentials whilst building a luxurious aesthetic applied to gift bags, Point of sale, brand experience, key visuals and comms. #sakura #SKII #SKIIpitera #branddesign #intertypestudio

New launch! Fettercairn – The journey We were briefed by Fettercairn to design a limited edition exclusively for the Whisky Shop – a specialist whisky retailer in the UK. For the illustration, we painstakingly traced the real topographic lines of the landscape seen from the still house, showing that the finest liquids are the most layered and complex. The oxidised copper surface of the still is cropped to feel like natural surfaces, the earth, stone and moss of the fells. The design flows around the carton, allowing them to be tiled together to create a dramatic effect on shelf. #intertypestudio #branddesign #scotchwhisky #illustration #graphicdesign

❤️ Happy Valentine’s Day from SKII, the ultra-prestige Japanese skin care brand. ❤️ Kawaii (‘cuteness’), is an important part of Japan’s culture, celebrating innocence, vulnerability, and charm. For a brand that reduces the effects of ageing, it’s the perfect gifting aesthetic, bringing a sense of youthful wonder. Having introduced the red SKII bear for Christmas gifting, we have brought him back for this celebration of love and affection. We designed a box in two sections. The halves repeatedly fold together to show two becoming one. The Jacobs ladder style paper engineering makes one box with five different front faces! For point of sale, the box is displayed in multiple configurations, telling a story of the bear searching for love hearts, then bringing them to the SKII facial treatment essence. Inside, two sliding draws contain a selection of skin care products.
