»Enter the Blackbox« ist eine kritische Performance- und Laboranordnung zu gesellschaftlicher Wirklichkeit und struktureller Intransparenz. Ausgehend von Debatten zum Zusammenhang von Opazität, Macht und autoritären Tendenzen versteht das Projekt KI als konflikthaften, ökonomisch getriebenen und für Manipulation und Machtmissbrauch anfälligen Apparat. Wo Transparenz fehlt, wird demokratische Kontrolle erschwert; Diskriminierung, Umweltschäden und Machtkonzentration bleiben unsichtbar. Chatbots sind Theatermaschinen: sie führen lebendige Dialoge, sie schlüpfen in Rollen, sie zeigen und erzeugen Gefühle. In “𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗯𝗼𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲” von 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 / @interrobang_performance treten zwei Performerinnen und ein Creative Coder mit Chatbots und anderen KI-Systemen gemeinsam auf die Bühne. Sie gehen der Frage nach: wie viel Theater steckt eigentlich in KI und wie viel KI-Theater haben Menschen bereits verinnerlicht. Ausgehend von der Grundsituation des Theaters – dem Live-Auftritt vor einem Publikum – beginnt eine intime Begegnung mit globalen KI-Systemen, ihren Möglichkeitsräumen und Verblendungsstrategien. In “𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗯𝗼𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲” by 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 / @interrobang_performance , two performers and a creative coder share the stage with chatbots and other AI systems. They explore the question: How much theater is in AI, and how much AI-theater have we already internalized? Starting from the core situation of theater – a live performance in front of an audience – the piece becomes an intimate encounter with global AI systems, their potential, and their strategies of deception. What happens when AI systems gain access to video, sound, stage, lighting, the bodies of the performers, and the reactions of the audience? Are chatbots the better performers?
