Interphase is back with a proper summer splash at Berlin’s legendary party boat @hoppetosse.berlin - an icon in the city’s night life since the late 90s.
We are delighted to welcome Hardline label head @deejaycosworth from Bristol, and Berlin’s new House mainstay @tereza_______________ on the ship. Also part of tonight’s crew: Belgium’s hottest genre bender @djshoplifter , 90s powerhouse @lacatyyyy and Leipzig’s finest @malte.magnum.vip . First edition of CAKEWALK FEST ☑️
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the bands that played the fest, everybody who helped us out, @isaeffy , @regerburger , and Purple Lab, for the amazing food, coffee and cake, @_patschmidt for the dope pictures, @malzfabrikevent for letting us use the space and of course all of you, who came out and made the trip to Berlin! This day was truly special to us and we couldn’t wish for a better turnout!
In short: we had a blast and hope you did too!

This one is gonna be a humanitarian fundraiser again, proceeds will be donated to @base_ua_ngo , who are doing civil medical evacuations, deliver humanitarian goods and organize community programs close to frontline areas in Ukraine!

On the morning after the fest (keep in mind, Monday is a bank holiday) you are invited to gather with us at the @flatmountainliving store in Berlin Schöneberg and make our way through Berlin’s south back to @malzfabrik , where we offer refreshments and food by the venue’s own mini-lake. About 40 days to go until the gates of the Malzfabrik open for the first edition of Cakewalk Fest!
Since malt production stopped in 1996 the industrial monument, temporarily home of KitKat Club, now developed into a green oasis right in the middle of Berlin‘s concrete jungle, which has written a history of its own ever since.
But why put on a DIY punk show there? Because its premises are designated for a modern style hardcore gig:
You can mosh hard at the "Speicher", get some food under the "Zwischendach" and cool down at the beach pond by the park.
Malzfabrik is located next to Ikea at Südkreuz, which is only two S-Bahn stations south from U Hermannstraße. This is a great off location, which is not far off at all.
We can‘t wait to welcome you at this cool new venue, let‘s make it a lasting memory. (Also yes, there will be cake)
