hello <3 I am throwing a very special show with @jonahbaseball in Detroit on April 25, and would love if you could be apart of it. <3
100 flowers is an evolving project i have been wanted do for quite awhile. I was kind-of originally inspired by all the gorgeous native flowers here in Michigan, I always see them walking around. Each show is centered around a different type of flower to embody the dance floor we are all rooted to; our shared experience. My goal was to create a platform for my friends to experiment with their music live while blending into the soul of Detroit; I hope to allow the crowd to be unhindered by the outside word and be free to express yourself.
In celebration of the spring season, (one of my favorites) I wanted to call this show "blossom". There's always sort of a stirring / explosive energy this time of year and I hope you can feel this. Everything from ticket design, to the lighting, to the music we play is all created by friends and i am so excited to share everything with you.
