My Saturday Night Movie. An enjoyable and nostalgic wallow for lovers of the original Peaky Blinders show (like me) but not a great film. Cillian Murphy still has the best dead-eyed stare in the business.
Finished this late last night. A Good Read (high praise) with a page-turning story, strong characters, shocking and visceral in parts. Also eye-opening for me as a sasunnach man about Jacobean Scotland, the Witch Trials and the treatment of women. A real achievement @annacaig
