Interim Dissonance — аудіовізуальний проєкт, сформований у середовищі нічної сцени Берліна музикантами, також відомими як A.V.SUALS та DR. NEXUS.
Практика A.V. Suals ґрунтується на імпровізації та керується глибокою зацікавленістю до аудіовізуального дисонансу, розмиваючи межі між тим, що видно, і тим, що чути.
Dr. Nexus, маючи бекграунд у візуальному мистецтві, вже близько трьох десятиліть працює зі звуком у полі експериментальної, нойзової та індустріальної електроніки.
Дует поєднує експериментальне звучання та візуальні елементи. Глітчі, спотворення сигналу та технічні збої стають матеріалом для створення композицій, де помилка перетворюється на інструмент та форму вираження. Хаос і гармонія невідворотно зіштовхуються.

Krach, Kante und Elbe: KiEw 35th Anniversary at Hafenklang
The evening really started to tilt sideways for me with Interim Dissonance. Their a/v set feels like someone lifting the floorboards of communication and showing the broken wiring underneath. Glitches; cuts in the signal; delays that hang just a bit too long; a voice that appears and disappears like interference rather than a narrator. It is extremely experimental in a very literal way.

We had really a blast performing here and to be welcomed with such a sweet crowd.

We had such an amazing time in Ternopil, Ukraine for the @hamselyt festival! Thank you for these amazing stage photos by @sok_irart .
It was a long and interesting journey, taking the train through Poland, going into the border checks where they took me off the train to check my visa/passport, having the customs officer going through our bags if we have anything hidden, finally arriving in Ukraine, slept through an air raid alarm, performed super nervously but turns out to be very well received and walking through the city while snacking on smoked bacon slices(?).
Thank you so much for your hospitality, organizing such a great lineup & festival and for having such an amazing crew @zavgoth .

The duo - founded by LILU HERLAMBANG aka A.V.SUALS & DR. NEXUS somewhere in berlins nightlife - creates dissonance, not just as noise or visual rupture, but as a phenomenon rooted in inherited imbalance. Glitches, distortions, and signal breakdowns are treated as raw materials, revealing the negative space of communication - embracing error as expression.
The result is an audiovisual experience shaped by absence, interruption, and unresolved harmony, where dissonance becomes a method of uncovering what lies beneath.
