In what’s our fourth Various Artist album, we have once again compiled the sonic outputs of those who have inspired us over the last year: from newly discovered muses to old friends. Like our previous compilations, Lilium is a curious and emotive excavation of electronic music. It embodies our genre-melting ethos and aim to illuminate the musical worlds of local, underground producers. We are looking forward to celebrating this collaborative work alongside the contributing artists and supporters of intersub’s past and present. A warm embrace cut with a rugged core, this ten-track album has a strong ambient and new age flavour that playfully traverses into deconstructed broken beat, bass-heavy architectures, high-energy jungle, and the hypnotic drive of tech-house and acid-leaning grooves. As with each year, this compilation celebrates the musical worlds that have moved us over the past twelve months - from newly discovered muses to long-standing friends. We wanted to create space to explore the intricacies of electronic music in social but non-party settings. Now, after some years of morphing through various musical pursuits and formats, we’re going back to our roots with an event series dedicated to the art of listening, together. KiS is a restorative and intimate gathering centred around ambient sound and focused auditory absorption. Inspired by listening cafe culture and the sonic meditations of Pauline Oliveros - KiS celebrates the depth and simplicity of music appreciation in the company of others. This 15-track compilation continues our exploration of genre-melting sound. Once again, we’ve gathered a selection of artists from across the globe, weaving together their distinct styles into a sonic tapestry that defies easy categorisation. Musically, Orbea is genre-fluid: blending atmospheric ambient, classical, harrowing vocals and textured noise into fractured breaks, raw electro and wave. This release carries a pulse between inertia and momentum, from the stillness of introspection to the kinetic energy that propels us outward. It’s an ode to contrast, a meditation on tension and release, and above all, a celebration of that which cannot be explained. The creation of Orbea was as much about collaboration as it was about the music itself. Over the past year, we’ve been blessed to work with a multitude of artists and friends, each bringing their own unique perspectives and talents. It’s been a little quiet over here recently, we’ve been travelling a lot over the past year and are currently based in London, soaking up the depths of music culture, connecting with new and old friends, family, artists, collectives and crews and feeling very inspired for the future morphing of Intersub.
