Held within Ile Ọkàn (House of the Soul), an exhibition by @bisilanoha , the evening moved in resonance with her work, touching on ritual, spirit, and our connection to the natural world. 7pm Bethlehem / 5pm London

At @omvedgardens , as part of Ile Ọkàn (House of the Soul) by @bisilanoha 🌱 Listening into the world of Ile Ọkàn, I created a sonic landscape for the space — a soundscape, alongside an Intentions gathering held within it. It was deeply meaningful to collaborate with Bisila 🧡 to shape a space held with such care, beauty and intention. The soundscape is woven from field recordings, gestures of making, and moments of connection. With gratitude to @vinthyaperinpanathan and @rafington for trusting me to include Monkey ft. Nuwan Gunawardhana (to be released on @mallung.records ) in the composition. And thank you to Rachitha for joining me in shaping the Intentions journey that evening ✨ A beautiful and deeply meaningful way to welcome the spring equinox and this new cycle 🌀 Thank you to OmVed Gardens for hosting us, and to everyone who came, listened, and shared in this moment. Intentions, Flourishing Light ✨ as part of Ile Ọkàn by @bisilanoha Friday 20 March 2026 at @omvedgardens 🌱 With sounds by @rafington & @maxinepennn This edition of Intentions unfolds at the Spring Equinox 🌸 a turning point in the solar year when day and night stand in equilibrium and the seasonal cycle turns toward renewal. Following winter’s inward phase, it signals the return of growth, movement, and light — a transition mirrored in human rhythms. Aligned with the New Moon 🌙, it offers a space to listen for what is ready to begin and to move into the coming season with intention and care. Taking place as part of Bisila Noha’s Ile Ọkàn (House of the Soul) exhibition, the gathering unfolds in dialogue with themes of ritual, spirit, and our relationship to the natural world. Sound becomes a subtle thread connecting inner and outer landscapes, echoing the exhibition’s exploration of communion with land, memory, and the unseen. This session is guided by Maxine Pennington, founder of Intentions, through a carefully curated DJ set designed to hold and support this shared space, joined by artist and Mallung Records founder Rachitha Seneviratne. Maxine is also the composer of the exhibition’s soundscape, extending the sonic environment of the gallery into this live experience. @iranegagben is a gathering place for art, nature, and devotion — where artists, healers, and visionaries live and create in harmony with the land. Our residency offers time and space for contemplation, imagination, and creation, surrounded by desert, palm groves, and salt lakes — providing a unique landscape for inspiration and rest. From September 2025 to June 2026 (with a pause from February to mid-April), we will welcome artists from near and far to join us. There is no fixed programme, bring your own project, follow an impulse, or simply be present and let the environment guide your experience. This is an invitation-based residency, crafted to nurture deep, meaningful creative journeys in an intimate setting. Introducing @iranegagben , a sanctuary and artist residency located in the elemental landscape of Siwa Oasis. Guided by the belief that creativity blossoms in stillness—when we are present, connected, and listening deeply—Irane Gagben honours creativity as an act of devotion. It offers a supportive space to slow down, listen, and create in harmony with nature’s rhythms. We’ve shaped two offerings:
✨ The Seed — a 12 day journey to reconnect with inspiration
🌿 Devotion — a residency for artists to engage deeply with their practice This is a self-funded, evolving project, designed with care to be both accessible and sustainable, rooted in respect and reciprocity with the local community.
