Hello everyone 😌
Little collection of memories from my trip to Las Americas in the beginning of the year hihi!!
I know it’s been a while but I had a lot on my plate since I came back, but still wanted to take some time to thank everyone for making this dream come true, from Ecuador to Brazil and Mexico to the US.
After I came back exhausted from this huge trip I hurt my knee as you might know, this was pretty brutal as I never had to cancel gigs and stuff, but my body literally told me to stop and I had no other choice than to listen to it.
I had a lot of time to think on the ramifications of this event, and while I’m still wrapping my head around it, I think it’s obvious that the pace I was riding life drove me to my limits.
After almost 2 months (ouch) of staying home, resting, healing and (over)thinking, I can’t wait to go back to playing music again, but i will now go to a pace that will respect my physical and mental health.
I’m writing this long cringe post not only to look cool but I really want to encourage everyone struggling with the rhythm of life to just slow down, listen to the signs that your body and your mind are sending before hitting the wall, music and partying is cool and all but crashing and burning is not.
Self care era is starting NOW at long last.
Take care of yourself and others 🫂
