On February 4th, within the mosaic courtyards and hushed gardens of Bahia Palace, Hanan Sharifa presented a fashion happening suspended between ritual and remembrance. Conceived as a living offering, the performance transformed the palace into a space of tenderness, where fabric, body, and architecture entered into quiet dialogue. Choreographed by Mona Namer, co-produced by Hiba Ait El Ghassal and accompanied by Ilias Boustane's dreamy tunes, the piece unfolded as a slow procession of gestures, devotional, deliberate, intimate. The dancers Khawla Agoudal, Fatim Zahra Alami, Ahlem Chaou, Khaoula Abou El Hassan, and Imane El Kabli carried the garments like moving sanctuaries, their bodies becoming vessels for memory and breath. Textiles drifted across the tiled floors, catching the winter light, inscribed with softness and intention. Presented as a tribute to Ilyass Alami Afilal, who passed away earlier this year, the performance held grief with grace. It did not seek spectacle, but presence, a collective pause where movement became prayer, and fashion became a language for love, continuity, and quiet devotion.
