Thank you for reading. As part of a Department-wide social media review, the official State Magazine Instagram account will be archived soon. For nearly 80 years, State Magazine has told the stories of diplomacy—spotlighting the people, places, and everyday work that advance U.S. foreign policy around the world. From a hand-typed newsletter in 1947 to today’s multimedia storytelling, the magazine has evolved alongside the Department it documents. While this account is being retired, the publication’s legacy and historical record endure. We’re grateful to everyone who followed, shared, and contributed to these stories over the years.
