A beautiful 27 mile trek along Hadrians Wall for the annual #climbingforromp event put on by @rompglobal .
I was fortunate enough to intern with @rompglobal through the @vichandproject in 2017, and saw first hand how large of an impact a small group of people can make. For those of you that havnt heard of both of these organizations, they assist in providing low cost prosthetics for amputees in underserved locations.
These organizations consistantly deliver, and have fit many amputees that have experienced social hardships due to their disability.
Think about the social challenges and frustrations we have had simply from being in lockdown, and not being as mobile, despite having limited anatomical downfalls. There are millions who feel this everyday, and cannot fully express themselves due to their lack of mobility.
I will #climbforromp every year I can, and I encourage you to look into how these organizations are making a difference.
