Stoked to share that I took home the win at Sohjo Hacks! 🏆
The challenge from the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) was all about bridging the gap between business R&D needs and the cutting-edge lab infrastructure at the Joensuu campus.
My solution? An interactive virtual campus built with Gaussian Splatting technology. It allows users to smoothly navigate into the right labs, explore the spaces, and interact with different tools—like VR headsets—to learn exactly what they do and how they can be used for joint projects.
A huge thank you to the organizers for a brilliantly executed event, and a massive shoutout to all the other competitors. Seeing everyone's creative solutions was awesome, and the overall vibe and community spirit throughout the hackathon were just incredibly inspiring!

Testing out the Antigravity A1 and Gaussian Splatting in Savonlinna. I turned 8K 360 video into a 3D model using Postshot after just two laps around the castle. Even the local "flying rats" (seagulls) couldn't stop the results!
