EARLY SEASON LICHEN REPORT FROM THE BLUFFS - VERY GOOD, many happy (moist) specimens + Bonus first Sagebrush Buttercup of the season.
Also climbed but that was secondary.
This fall I’ve been helping out with a little outreach program, aimed at getting rock climbers to report bats that they see in cliffs. It’s been so much fun mixing conservation and climbing!
In the face of continued habitat loss, and the fungal disease, white nose syndrome, they really do need our help. If you see a bat while you’re climbing, let me know and I would be psyched to help you report it properly!
While it is separate, it really reflects the same type of work that I’ve been doing on my Masters too.
After wrapping up our education booth at Skaha a few weekends ago, I got a little extra Batty at Doctors wall. Bruce Wayne ain’t got shit on me!!!!

I have just wrapped up another winter of travelling. I am incredibly grateful and privileged to pursue climbing in new and beautiful places. Thank you to all my friends, new and old, for the belays and memories ❤️
Back in BC and time for some more fun and friends down at the coast!
