May 11 marks the day in 1981 when Bob Marley left the physical world.
He was more than a songwriter. He was a storyteller, a healer, and for many, a prophet.
At just 36 years old, knowing his time was near, Bob hoped to take his final breath in Jamaica, but his journey ended in Miami after returning from treatment in Germany.
Why such a powerful soul was called so early is a question many have asked of Jah. Perhaps his earthly mission was complete. Perhaps there was nothing more he needed to give, and nothing more we could offer in return.
His body departed, but his spirit remains—guiding, teaching, and reminding us to seek truth, justice, and unity.
