Don, Steph & I are in and out for that whole period so sometimes there’s two rooms available and sometimes just one. Steph will care for dog most of the time but we do need a dog sitter for 10 days which is compensated.
Its the last week to see my Moon-Watcher prints @the_fulcrum_press as part of the excellent exhibition "Beyond the Apparatus" organized by @joshschaedel - Big thanks to Josh for giving me the opportunity to share this work, Moon-Watcher has been a muse of sorts for me for years and years, and getting to show this work alongside some of my favorite artists has been a treat! Hope you can make it by, and if you would like to buy one of these prints, they are affordably priced with all proceeds going to Palestinian Mutual Aid. Today I made the difficult decision to withdraw from an academic conference at USC I had been invited to speak at - it was to be my first conference and I was really excited to share some of my research - I chose to withdraw because I did not want my research to be used as a distraction from USC’s ongoing failures, the genocide in Palestine, and the collective crises unfolding at college campuses across the country. We cannot allow these disasters to be normalized, we cannot allow or work to be instrumentalized or to resume our business as usual- Everyone must continue do what they can, even if sometimes it doesn’t feel good. Free Palestine 🇵🇸
