I spent my whole life thinking music was hard and I'd never be able to learn it. I had never even tried, but then when I finally did, I figured out that story was a lie. Now, I see that music is easy and fun and that anyone can learn. I teach people at parties and drum circles all the time and they are surprised when they are able to pick it up and play, many times within minutes and with no prior knowledge. For Father's Day, I'm offering a special package for any of the dads you know that might enjoy learning with me in South Florida. (And you don't have to be a dad to take advantage of this offer. I love teaching all people, including kids!) If you know anyone who would like to learn guitar, I'd be honored to teach them. Absolutely no music knowledge or experience required. It truly doesn't take as much effort as you might imagine. In just a few sessions, you'll be able to find your way around the fretboard and play basic songs. I am really excited to be where I am on my musical journey and grateful to be able to share what I've learned with others. I love teaching and would love to share what I know with you. My last post on IG was in 2012. So yeah, it's been 10 years. I'm not sure what beautiful journey still lies ahead for me, but as I reflect on my journey over the last decade, I believe there are photos and stories and knowledge worth sharing. If I inspire even one person to get out and be in nature or to believe in themself, then that is enough for me. Expect more posts. I don't want to wait another 10 years before my next one.
