Recently began filming a documentary covering the life and work of Grammy-nominated mastering engineer @mattdavis808 .
Shooting commenced this past March in LA, where Matt was designing a new home studio for @subtronics .
Link in bio for the recap. Full documentary coming eventually.
Upon meeting Chris Adams, better known as the extraterrestrial allure 𝗔𝗛𝗘𝗘, you wouldn’t think he was the sole survivor of a fatal car accident as a child. But after coming to understand his rare sense of optimism and love of nature, human connection, and electronic music, it makes perfect sense.
@iamahee is an individual who values life and every moment it offers him. One of the best parts about him? Aside from his incredible ability to create rip-smattering bass music? He’s relatable.
He harvests onions, he raises chickens, he speculates about aliens, he has hard times, he has good times, he is just like the fans who follow him around the country and support him and bares nothing in common with the egotistical DJ archetype that has persisted in the history of electronic music.
He’s human. Well, “part human, part cyborg,” according to him.
In a recent backstage interview, we learned a little bit more about the human/cyborg mind behind 𝗔𝗛𝗘𝗘 and discussed the future of bass music, interdimensional travel, and much more.

Sharing things you love with the people you love is one of life’s greatest joys. It kind of goes together like Chesapeake chicken and beef lo mein. Or bluegrass music and beachside views 🪕
At @annapolisbaygrassfestival this past September, we were treated to all of the above as fans from across the country gathered on the sunny shores of Sandy Point State Park to celebrate great music, awesome vibes, tasty food, and beautiful views 🦪
As my first time attending, I didn’t know what to expect from the up and coming bluegrass festival. And while I was familiar with the venue, I was totally blown away by how they transformed it 🏖️

Immediately upon sitting down with Kyle Bate and Sam Eckstein, AKA @tiedyekyforeva and @esseksmusic , you can tell they are cut from the same cloth.
The brotherly duo are as quick to correct each other as they are to praise one another, and do not shy away from expressing their opinions openly and honestly.
In a recent interview with Bate and Eckstein, the minds behind bass-forward, hyper-pop supergroup 𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠, we discover the transparency they’ve developed as friends has poured over into the studio as collaborators.
The result is a fusion of sounds drawn from several different waters, most notably 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗸𝘀’ shadowed sonic profile, transfused with the hopeful glimmer of 𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗱𝘆𝗲 𝗸𝘆’𝘀 trademark vocals.
Calling out of Brooklyn, New York, a week ahead of @submersionfestival , tiedye ky and Esseks tell us everything that has led up to the festival debut of their collaboration, SURFTEAM, and what it took to get here.

Thought Process Discusses Debut Album, Biggest Headline Show Yet, Live Band, & More 🎙️
An artist’s intentions are the truest reflection of who they are. But it’s not as simple as the intention to create. It’s the reason why that artist creates and what they hope will come of it that’s important to understand.
For Joseph Rich, the mind behind the @__thoughtprocess project, his creations are inspired by several factors. His main intention is to create art that can impact others as much as the art he discovered impacted him.
Aside from that, Rich has ambitions of breaking down walls in taste and sound, creating cooler, safer, more community-oriented events for his fans and friends, changing the way women are treated in the scene, and constantly challenging himself along the way.

Seth David Shares His Secret Sauce, Path to Success, and American Skanka Legacy 🎙️
What is the X-Factor that makes an artist go from good to great? How can someone go from selling plasma just so they can afford groceries to performing at Red Rocks?
While there are a few different ways to get from point A to point B, @iamsethdavid did it through creative exploration, fearless expression, and sheer determination all while maintaining an unwavering authenticity to himself.
In December 2024, right at the end of a breakout year for the Chicago bass maverick, @riverbeatsdance rendezvoused with Seth David at DC’s @echostage for his supporting slot alongside Subtronics.
During the green room interview, David discussed his journey through sound, the highs and lows of his career, his sudden rise to fame, and how he plans to make American Skanka ring through venues nationwide.

G-Unit is officially two ✌️
At this point, I’m not sure if I’ve taught her more than she’s taught me, but what I do know for certain is that this little person is growing up insanely fast. Swiping through these slides you’ll see that Gianna has been up to quite a bit this past year. Playing with her cat siblings, singing, gymnastics, listening to music, and wreaking occasional havoc have become some of her favorite pastimes and it’s been amazing seeing her discover an interest in things. Someone recently reminded me how much we are all reflections of each other. This couldn’t be more true with the case of little G and I am reminded of it everyday.
Happy birthday Gianna ❤️
